An international law firm is in the process of relocating to two new office locations in Chicago (567,000 Sq. Ft.) and London (210,000 Sq. Ft.). As part of their design process, they engaged The Clarient Group to establish the Smart Building roadmap for both the fit out of the individual locations, but also their shift to more of a cloud-based solutions across their enterprise.

The challenges the firm was looking to address were both employee experience at the new locations to drive in-office engagement and operational efficiencies that could be realized. The key driver for the timing of this work was the opportunity to ensure they did not miss out on anything during the construction of the new fit outs and assist in conversations with the Base Building in what the client was looking for in relation to developer provided systems.

Through the Expert process, The Clarient Group has led both project teams through our Day-in-the-Life journeys for determining both employees and operational desired experiences and distilled them down into tangible outcomes. These outcomes were matched to the technologies required to deliver them. This gave the client teams the foundation they needed for embedding into their project designs, all without complicated technical discussions.

Ongoing services are enabling the Client to make informed decisions on vendor selection, how to address gaps in existing technology, and how to prioritize new expenditures on technologies that were not included initially.
