PROJECT PROFILE
The Clarient Group has been retained by JBG Smith on residential projects in the National Landing development district of Arlington, Virginia – an urban
redevelopment spurred by Amazon locating their HQ2 in the district. The Clarient Group is currently involved with four projects with a total of nearly 3,000 residential units and three-million square feet or residential, retail, and parking.
The projects include:
1900 Crystal Drive – 1900 Crystal Drive is a two-tower, 808 unit residential property with approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of retail space and below grade parking. The Clarient Group is providing services to plan and design. To align with the Smart Infrastructure vision for National Landing, JBGS retained The Clarient Group to change separate IP networks for each tower to a single, building-wide JBGS IP Network with the BAS/BAM and all other building systems integrated into a single network.
2250 Crystal Drive – 2250 Crystal Drive is a new multi-story residential tower. The building will be about 850,000 sq. ft. with 758 units, retail spaces, tenant amenity spaces, and 189 parking spaces below grade. The Clarient Group is providing IT, AV, Security, and Cellular DAS infrastructure design services.
223 23rd Street – 223 23rd is a new residential project. The building is a 30-story, 603-unit tower with an area of 507,000 square feet above grade and two below grade of approximately 26,000 square feet each. The building has 4,600 square feet of retail and 11,000 square feet of tenant amenity spaces. The below level spaces have parking for 138 vehicles. The Clarient Group is providing IT, AV, Security, and Cellular DAS infrastructure design services.
2000-2001 South Bell Street – This property consists of two towers – an East Building; which is 19 stories, 200 feet in height, and contains 420 units; and a West Building; which is 25 stories, 250 feet in height and contains 360 units. The total residential square footage is approximately 700,000 plus amenity spaces. There is also 25,000 square feet of retail as part of the development. The project additionally includes a 145,000 square-foot two-level garage with space for 347 vehicles and 384 bicycles. The Clarient Group is providing IT, AV, Security, and Cellular DAS infrastructure design services.
